Hi everyone,
My name is David Holroyd-Doveton and I am a High Red.
I joined Ecademy on the last day of 2008 but never really did anything with my membership till June 2010 when I met and heard Penny Power at a Chartered Institute of marketing event in Chelmsford.
I was so impressed with Penny that I decided to have a look at Ecademy. I filled in my profile and started accepting requests to connect from other Ecademy members. I then booked into an Ecademy Event run by Penny and Thomas on how to get a 'Digital Mindset'.
At the event James Knight did a presentation on iMA, and what an eye opener that was. As a result I started looking at everyone in a new light. I realised that I had to make a massive change on how I communicated with my family, friends, colleagues and clients. I had to modify my attitude and behaviour if I wanted to get on with everyone.
I have run my own business for the past eighteen years and during these years I have always felt that it was down to me to make a success of the business. If only I has met James when I first started in business. I would have done things differently and I would not have been alone.
I now run a couple of coaching groups on Social Media. iMA is a cornerstone of my what I do at these coaching sessions. The others being what I have learnt from Penny and Thomas, KLF, ORS & CSC.
I have made numerous friends on Ecademy, some High Yellows, some High Blues and some High Greens not to mentions the High Reds.
If we are not in contact yet it would be a great if we could now connect.
